Bumblebee Gallery now re-opens
The lock down ended for us here last week, and many shops in Kirkby Lonsdale re-opened, which was great news for all the local businesses who have been struggling to make a living recently.
Before the lock down, I was asked by Amber at the fabulous Bumblebee Gallery in Kirkby Lonsdale, to supply some paintings for the gallery. She came here to my studio to select several pieces which she liked. Most of them are paintings of this area and so she thought that they may also be of interest to local people.
The Bumblebee Gallery in Kendal closed last year and re-opened in Kirkby Lonsdale a year ago this week, on Market Street. Obviously due to covid it has been a difficult year, but hopefully now the recovery can begin.
So a big thank you to Amber from me for hanging my paintings, they look good on the walls. I hope that business recovers before Christmas, and to that end, the gallery is open every day.
It is, of course not just a gallery and is full of brilliant gift ideas, so I would recommend a visit if you are Christmas shopping, but the gallery does look amazing!
