Ingleborough from Fellside Farm is an original oil painting which was painted alla prima in the field a couple of hundred yards from my studio. The same studio where it was tidied up a little a few days later. When I was out there I particularly enjoyed using a palette knife to suggest the meadow grasses and flowers.
It now serves as a pleasant reminder of the beautiful weather we had in the summer, as we head towards winter. I would need my wellies to paint in the same spot today, but that could happen, maybe.
